Clean water is an equality issue. We believe wom Clean water is an equality issue. 

We believe women deserve the opportunity to follow their dreams, and the chance to support their families - and so its important that they don't have to spend all day fetching water to keep their households alive! By providing communities with water filters, you are supporting women to take back control of their time and livelihood.
World Water Day 2023 is about accelerating change World Water Day 2023 is about accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis! 

Currently - almost half the global population lack safe sanitation, and 1 in 4 lack access to safe drinking water. At DFN, we work to support the issues the affect the most marginalised people in India - and this means safe water is important to us. 

DFN is working to provide safe water to communities through our schools, as well as providing sanitary products and hygiene education to girls and women!
As India's population grows, so does the pressure As India's population grows, so does the pressure on its resources. Check back tomorrow on #WorldWaterDay to find out how we're working to help vulnerable families find access to safe water.
We want kids to receive the best education possibl We want kids to receive the best education possible - and part of that means helping to remove the obstacles. Students - especially girls - often need to help their mothers with household chores like collecting water, and after walking miles carrying heavy jugs they normally don't have much energy left to focus on their studies. 

Water filters in schools make a difference - these dropout rates haven't affected our schools in rural areas, because we are committed to providing safe water for children and their families.
