YES! In fact, we encourage you to write notes of encouragement and send birthday greetings. You can email a personal note or a photo of a card you’ve written to childsponsorship@dfnusa.org, and we’ll send it to India for you. Rest assured! Your child will receive your letter, but it can take 2-3 months to get your message to the school. Communication is challenging in India, but our schools do their very best to make sure students write their sponsors at least once a year.
