Three months ago, 15-year-old Manisha* was abducte Three months ago, 15-year-old Manisha* was abducted by a 42-year-old man on her way to work in the field. He kept her locked in his home committing unspeakable crimes for four days. However - because of faithful support this year, our team had all they needed to act as soon as they found out, and they rescued Manisha. But rescue is only the first step. After rescue comes the hard work of healing deep wounds and rebuilding a life of hope and promise. This is where trauma counseling comes in - providing space and specialised support for the journey.
